Meet Delyse Baker.  

Delyse is the talented and insightful lady behind the lens at DRB Photography.

We're lucky to have hosted a number of exceptional photographers at Heart of Rock Farm, and Delyse is one of our absolute favorites.  She  has an eye for the unexpected opportunities, and her images are unforgettable.

Delyse says she loves the wedding industry because she is absolutely in love with LOVE!

Delyse knows that each wedding and each couple has their own amazing story. She said she feels honored to be a part of the next chapter in her clients’ lives.  For many couples, this is their first rodeo, so Delyse takes pride in helping make the process as painless and fun as possible.

Delyse says she is a big fan of bright colors, dancing and letting her silly side show, dark chocolate, and frilly coffee.  And donuts.  “All the donuts.” 

Delyse’s own Wedding mishaps -- and her desire to capture every moment of her two children growing up -- play a big part in how she approaches her “job” as a photographer.  She says she would rather run around chasing the flower girl until she’s out of breath, or climb a counter and sit in a sink to capture a silly moment across the room, than to pull a checklist from her pocket to “create” a moment and miss the real and beautiful memories happening around her.

Delyse explained, “Life is unscripted.  While knowing the direction you would like to go is always helpful, sometimes you have to just trust that you’ll get there and enjoy the moment that is happening now.”

Delyse is looking forward to meeting all of you at Heart of Rock Farm’s Open House on April 14th.
